HISA’s comprehensive range of fine and liberal art courses are available in both the spring and Fall semesters. Each course usually carries three credits, and students may take up to 18 units. As many courses are interdisciplinary, the workload is intensive, but not over burdening.

As HISA is designed as an experiential, immersion program, students should expect assignments and projects that involve interaction with the community and the overall environment of Paros. While on the many field trips and excursions, lectures and discussions will be held on-site, and artwork will be organized to reflect the impressions encountered in exploring the rich artistic and cultural heritage of Paros and the adjacent Cycladic islands.
